Winter - Lake Minnewaska

January 12th, 2008

This workshop is open to all regardless of camera system or level of experience

Winter Photography Workshop at Minnewaska State Park Preserve. January 12th, 2008.

Salutations, esteemed enthusiasts. I bear a message of utmost urgency. It is that time of year again! Winter has finally arrived in all of its mesmerizing majesty. With great pleasure, I would like to announce the first group photography workshop of 2008.

I will take you off beaten paths, to some of the more esoteric locations, which I discovered during years of photography. Excessive hiking is not required. Should weather conditions be adverse, certain changes will have to be made to our itinerary. At the same time difficult environments can present opportunities to take in exhilarating vistas.
Photographic instruction is an indispensable part of the program. Not only will I take you to the aforementioned places. I shall also teach you how to photograph these locations by way of interactive and informal tutorial.

Of course, you can have as little or as much instruction and participation as you wish. If you would rather center on your own work, you will have all the time needed to create your images. Just let me know and I will tailor a learning environment adapted to your needs.

If you have been thinking about becoming more serious about your passion, if you want to photograph some of the most scenic locations in New York while receiving adept photographic instruction, don't pause another second: sign up now.

This workshop will provide a sterling opportunity for your photographic skills to evolve. I am confident that you will return home laden with a plethora of beautiful pictures and valuable experiences.

Later that afternoon we will conduct a print review – please bring some of your work, 8x10 or larger.
